Buray @ 9:00 PM

Buray is a town that almost never sleeps. Almost being the operative word. I got to talk to BigMac's crew and she said she is not afraid being in night shift at all. BigMac is a 24/7 burger joint. According to her, 12 midnight to 1 in the morning is the quietest time of the entire shift.

There are still plenty of travelers dining in the in the eatery still. For a provincial town, 9:00PM should relatively be desolate than this.

 

Street vendors "parag sudoy", though they don't litter or crowd the main road way anymore, there are still some left to cater to the late night travellers.

Chooks to Go can be seen from far away! Lighted signs are the best.

Still plenty of people buying lechon manok at night. 

I wish hope that the barangay officials would make the park look more enticing for Christmas by putting Christmas lights. I'd like the people to remember Buray with happy thoughts as they pass by. Would I be asking for too much?

Major Business Establishments in Buray

You'd know if a town is progressing when businesses no matter how big or small started popping out. That is a good sign that a town is progressive enough for a business to survive.

BigMac has been a local fixture in this town. Used to be stationed near the area where MLHUILLIER is now. Motorist usually make this burger joint as a pit stop for a fullfilling snack. The locals also patronize this joint from time to time.

MLhuillier opened in Buray on the later part of 2010. This is a huge convenient to all the people in the Paranas area. We now get to send and receive money right away instead of traveling for 45 minutes to go to Catbalogan City.

The only gasoline station in the area, Petron has been around for some time now. Owned by the Dabuet family, Buray seemed to be the perfect place for a gasoline station. Since its a crossing between 3 cities, travelers can dine or explore Buray while the buses and other vehicles gets refueled too. A win-win situation indeed.

A recent addition of the business establishments in the town, Chooks to Go finally opened a branch here! Yehey! This lechon manok franchise is indeed successful and the fact that they chose Buray to be the location of their pioneering Paranas branch says a lot of what an amazing town Buray really is.
